Data is sourced from the World Bank Open Data platform, UN Population Division, and the REST Countries API. The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

You may use the Site for personal, educational, journalistic, and commercial reference purposes. Specifically, you may:

• Data may be delayed. World Bank data typically lags 1 to 2 years behind the current calendar year. The data year is displayed on every page.
• Some countries have incomplete data for certain indicators. Missing values are shown as "N/A" rather than estimated.
• We do not guarantee that any data point is error-free. If you find an error, please report it.
• The Site should not be used as the sole basis for financial, investment, policy, or legal decisions. Always verify critical data against the original source.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, code, layout, and original written content are owned by WorldCountryData and protected by copyright. The underlying country data is sourced from public institutions:

• World Bank Open Data: Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0)
• UN Population Division: Public domain data freely available for reuse with attribution
• REST Countries: Open-source API with public access

Country flags are public domain. All trademarks, service marks, and logos belong to their respective owners.

7. User Submissions

If you submit a data correction, feature suggestion, or other feedback through our contact page, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Site. We will not publicly attribute feedback to you without your permission.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site contains links to external websites and may display third-party advertisements (via Google AdSense). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites or advertisers. Clicking on a third-party link or ad is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability
